About Jama Masjid, Lucknow

Mohammad Ali Shah, the third emperor of Awadh, had started the construction of this mosque intending to outperform in the context of the size of Jama Masjid, Delhi. But unfortunately, due to his death, he could not see it through. After his death, his wife, Rani Malika Jahan Sahiba, completed the mosque.
